The Scilogex® D160™ Homogenizer swiftly homogenizes, disperses, and emulsifies samples from 0.1-250ml, whether solids or liquids, depending on the probe. Operating at up to 30,000rpm, the rotor draws in material and cycles it through narrow slits for rapid shearing and disintegration. Complete tissue homogenization (muscle, liver, breast tissue, etc.) typically takes just seconds, making it ideal for lysing animal cells. Minimal heat is generated during the process.
