The IKA RV 3 Pro with dry ice condenser is the manual basic model of the IKA RV 3 rotary evaporator family, equipped with a dry ice condenser instead of a water-cooled glass condenser. The dry ice cold trap is ideal for low-boiling solvents and for labs without a chiller or cooling water supply. It suits chemical, pharmaceutical, and biotechnology work across research, production, and quality control.
A dry ice condenser provides very low condensation temperatures using solid CO2, making it effective at trapping volatile vapours. Combined with the 4-litre heating bath, single-handed manual lift, and an integrated safety lift-out in the event of power failure, the unit delivers reliable, controlled distillation.
