The IKA i-MAG Industry stirrer is a powerful yet compact magnetic stirrer built for both laboratory and production environments. Combined with the optional I-MAG SP set-up frames for large vessels, it can efficiently mix up to 300 liters of water, while its wired controller makes handling and integration into process-engineering systems straightforward.
Its robust drive unit (IP protection class 64) pairs a high-torque, wear-free motor with a magnetic coupling using high-performance neodymium magnets, enabling effective mixing of viscous media and mixing in vessels with a large gap between the surface and the stir bar. An adjustable start-up speed prevents the stir bar from breaking off during acceleration, and integrated detection of the magnetic coupling alerts the user through the operating unit if the coupling tears off or fails.
