The IKA EUROSTAR 40 digital is a versatile overhead stirrer for general laboratory mixing of volumes up to 25 liters (water). Its microprocessor-controlled brushless DC motor holds the chosen speed steady across the 0/30 to 2000 rpm range and automatically adapts to viscosity changes, delivering reproducible results from low- to medium-viscosity samples.
Actual shaft speed is continuously measured and compared against the target, with on-the-fly correction keeping output constant. Built-in safety circuits trigger an automatic cut-off in anti-stall or overload situations, while the push-through hollow shaft and slim, quiet housing suit demanding everyday bench work.
