Description

The Radwag® XA100 pipette calibration adapter is designed for the calibration and verification of piston pipettes using the gravimetric method in combination with the XA analytical balance.

This comprehensive set includes a base, weighing pan, 100 ml weighing vessel, an evaporation ring, and a glass chamber with an opening that allows for accurate liquid dispensing. The evaporation ring, an essential component of the adapter, helps maintain increased relative humidity inside the weighing chamber. This prevents the evaporation of liquid during the calibration or verification process, ensuring reliable and precise results.

The integrated weighing pan ensures centric placement of the vessel within the weighing chamber. Both the pan and vessel are enclosed in a glass chamber that features an opening designed to allow convenient liquid dosing while also minimizing the impact of air drafts on measurement accuracy.

Pipette Calibration Adapters

These adapters are intended specifically for calibrating and verifying piston pipettes using the gravimetric method. It should be noted that the use of a pipette calibration adapter reduces the maximum capacity of the balance by the weight of the vessel. To assist with proper selection, a table based on ISO 8655-6:2022 standards outlines the minimum requirements and helps identify the appropriate adapter and compatible balance model. Each balance is configured to ensure that the expanded measurement uncertainty remains less than one-fourth of the maximum permissible error of the pipette under test.
