Description
The Radwag® PMV 50.5Y microwave moisture analyzer is designed to measure moisture content in samples with up to 100% water content, such as dairy products, fish, meat, syrups, and resins. Using microwaves, it heats the entire sample evenly, significantly reducing drying time compared to standard halogen analyzers—from 1 to 10 minutes versus 5 to 40 minutes.
Samples are placed on a glass fiber filter in the drying chamber, where microwaves emitted from the waveguide ensure uniform drying. Moisture content is calculated based on mass loss during the process. Drying programs are tailored to sample mass and composition.
The PMV 50.5Y includes a temperature sensor to monitor power and prevent boiling, with microwave power displayed throughout the operation. The PMV 50.5Y moisture analyzer is built on the advanced Y-series system designed for laboratory balances. Its 16 GB memory allows for storing detailed reports and statistical graphs.
Wireless communication, including Wi-Fi®, enhances convenience and operational safety by enabling seamless data transfer to mobile devices. The 10-inch touch screen provides user-friendly operation, while proximity sensors offer touch-free access to customizable functions.
