Description
The IKA® MIXSTER SET 1 is a compact, universal magnetic drive stirrer system. The set includes one drive, which operates as a powerful single-position stirrer for up to 5 L, speeds up to 3000 rpm, and viscosities up to 500 mPas, delivering fast and efficient mixing results.
The system can be expanded with additional units (up to 30 positions) and controlled individually or in leader-follower mode. Optional accessories convert it into a 9-position stirrer or a vortex/orbital shaker.
An intuitive 360° LED glass display shows key parameters such as speed or power, enabling real-time insight into mixing behavior, including viscosity changes. Operation can be started by button or automatic beaker detection, while a reverse function improves mixing performance for difficult samples.
With IP66 protection, MIXSTER is suitable for harsh environments and can be cleaned under running water or used in incubators up to 40°C. Its compact design is ideal for space-limited labs and has been awarded the Red Dot Award 2022
