Description
The patented IKA Tube Mill control is an innovative batch mill designed with a disposable grinding chamber that eliminates cross-contamination and removes the need for cleaning between samples. Its transparent grinding chamber and cover allow continuous observation of the grinding process, making it ideal for research, quality control, and sample preparation applications.
The mill is suitable for grinding hard, dry, and brittle materials with a Mohs hardness of up to 5 and is particularly effective for processing seeds and grains such as corn and wheat.
Safety is a central feature of the Tube Mill control. The instrument will only operate when the protective hood is closed and the grinding chamber is correctly installed and secured. If the chamber is improperly fitted or not properly closed, the system displays an error message and prevents operation. During use, the grinding chamber remains securely locked. A specialized labyrinth sealing system protects both the drive and grinding chamber, preventing dust from escaping and protecting the drive from contamination.
