Description
The IKA RV 3 Pro with coated dry ice condenser is the manual basic model of the IKA RV 3 rotary evaporator family, fitted with a dry ice condenser whose glassware carries a protective plastic coating. The coating helps contain fragments should breakage occur, while the dry ice cold trap handles low-boiling solvents without a chiller or cooling water. It serves chemical, pharmaceutical, and biotechnology applications in research, production, and quality control.
The dry ice condenser reaches very low condensation temperatures using solid CO2, capturing volatile vapours efficiently, and the coated glassware adds an extra layer of operator safety. Together with the 4-litre heating bath, single-handed manual lift, and an integrated safety lift-out on power failure, it provides dependable, well-controlled distillation.
