Description
The IKA RV 10 Auto Pro V-C is the coated-glassware flagship of IKA's rotary-evaporator line, built around a fully automated, intuitive workflow. A bright TFT color display, an integrated vacuum controller, automatic cooling-water management, and a 40-solvent library let users set up and run distillations with minimal manual steps, while extended ramp programming, smooth start, interval, and timer functions support customized procedures. The included VACSTAR digital vacuum pump is driven directly from the evaporator's control unit.
This V-C configuration uses protective-coated vertical glassware to help contain glass fragments in the unlikely event of an implosion. Safety is comprehensive: a motorized lift with safety-stop raises the flask out of the heating bath on power failure, supported by adjustable temperature safety circuits, boil-dry protection, adjustable end-point recognition to help prevent glass breakage, and a locking function. The vertical condenser provides a 1500 cm² cooling surface for efficient recondensing, and USB / RS-232 interfaces allow remote control via IKA labworldsoft.
