Description
The IKA KS 4000 ic control is an innovative incubator shaker designed for unattended operation in a temperature-controlled environment. A built-in cooler connects to an external cooling unit so its large 90 L chamber can work below ambient temperature, while a 20 kg load capacity supports high-throughput culturing.
Integrated PID temperature control with two PT 1000 sensors keeps conditions reproducible. A large LED display shows speed and time, controls carry an antimicrobial coating to reduce bacteria, and an electronic timer switch (0-999 h) supports timed and continuous operation. The unit stops automatically when the hood is lifted and switches off if disturbed, and all functions can be controlled and documented with labworldsoft® software.
