Description
Benchmark Scientific® MyBlock dry baths represent a next-generation line of digital dry bath incubators designed to improve upon traditional heating blocks. These were the first digital dry baths to feature advanced microprocessor-based temperature control, offering both timed and continuous operation along with a removable, hinged lid for added convenience. An optional external temperature feedback probe can be placed directly into a sample tube, allowing real-time monitoring and precise regulation of actual sample temperature.
The transparent lid enhances temperature uniformity by maintaining a warm air layer above the block, reducing temperature stratification while also minimizing heat loss to improve energy efficiency. The hinged design allows the lid to flip open to the rear or be easily removed to accommodate taller tubes and specialized vessels.
Both single and dual block models are available with Benchmark’s unique Quick-Flip™ block system. These universal blocks accept 0.5 to 2.0 mL tubes on one side and, when flipped, accommodate 0.2 mL tubes, PCR strips, or—on dual block models—PCR plates. Additional interchangeable blocks are available to support tube sizes up to 50 mL, making the MyBlock series a versatile solution for a wide range of laboratory applications
