Description
The IKA® Twister Set 1 (current IKA range: MIXSTER Set 1) is a compact, single-position magnetic stirrer with a powerful magnetic drive, capable of mixing volumes up to 5 liters at speeds up to 3000 rpm and viscosities up to 500 mPas. Its high IP 66 protection class allows operation under harsh conditions, including cleaning under running water.
The set includes one MIXSTER stirring drive unit together with a power supply and an IKAFLON® 25 magnetic stirring bar. By adding further stirring units the system can be expanded into a multi-position stirrer, and a 360° LED glass display conveys speed and stirring-power information without an alpha-numeric readout.
