Description

The IKA® C 200 is a compact, cost-effective combustion (oxygen-bomb) calorimeter for determining the gross calorific value of solid and liquid samples. Its small footprint and straightforward manual water- and oxygen-filling make it well suited to teaching and training (schools and universities) as well as industrial labs with lower sample throughput. Four working methods — isoperibolic, dynamic, manual, and time-controlled — let you match the instrument to different tasks, and a clear display keeps operation simple.

The gross calorific value is shown on the display; in the three automatic modes, ignition and calculation run automatically (acid and net-calorific-value corrections are done manually). The decomposition vessel can be adapted to use combustible C 14 crucibles (with the C 5010.4 attachment). The optional C 6040 Calwin software controls the calorimeter and manages measurement data on a PC.
