Description
The IKA A 10 basic is a redesigned batch mill that grinds hard, brittle, soft, and fibrous materials in volumes up to 50 ml. Because samples can be embrittled directly inside the grinding chamber, the mill also handles tough, oily, and aqueous materials that are otherwise difficult to process. Its grinding chamber, cutter geometry, and speed match the previous A 10 model, so results remain directly comparable.
Safety was a central focus of the design: the mill starts only when the lid is closed and can be opened only at standstill, and a quick-stop feature adds further protection. A brushless motor delivers a long service life with low noise, while integrated cooling connections and an exchangeable beater/cutter make the unit adaptable to a wide range of applications.
