Description
The Elmasonic Easy 350R is a robust, round ultrasonic device designed for laboratory use, ideal for thoroughly cleaning test sieves, preparing samples, and efficiently degassing liquids.
Elma engineers found that a round cleaning tank, which aligns with sieve configurations, distributes ultrasonic cavitation more evenly throughout the solution. This is further optimized by the absence of drains, which can otherwise reduce cavitation in their vicinity.
The device ensures uniform cleaning action through its automatic Sweep mode, making it perfect for cleaning parts. For more intensive sieve cleaning, pressing the “Sieve Cleaning” button activates the powerful Pulse mode, effectively removing both soluble and insoluble particles.
The Elmasonic Easy 350R features a tank with a 23.8-inch internal diameter, a height of 9.8 inches, and a capacity of around 18 gallons.
In addition to sieve cleaning, these versatile ultrasonic cleaners also handle tasks like solvent degassing and sample preparation. Degassing, whether for HPLC solvents or fresh ultrasonic solutions, is achieved using the “Degas” function, which operates in an on-off mode to lift and burst air bubbles.
For dissolving samples or performing chemical extraction, the “Sample Prep” key activates Dynamic mode, alternating between Sweep and Pulse operations. Samples can be processed in glass beakers placed in a special cover or suspended at least one cm above the bath liquid.
The device is also compatible with an optional laboratory stand and clamp, which can securely hold flasks and solvent bottles in the center of the tank.
