The Benchmark Scientific® Orbi-Shaker™ CO₂ Series is specifically engineered for shaking, mixing, and aeration applications within extreme environments such as CO₂ incubators. Built to operate in temperatures ranging from 0°C to 60°C and humidity levels up to 100%, this shaker ensures consistent performance under demanding laboratory conditions.
To prevent contamination and avoid unintentional CO₂ release or deviations from protocol, all operating parameters are controlled through an external remote control module. This compact controller can be conveniently placed outside the incubator and connects to the shaker via a thin, 1mm flat cable that passes easily through a port or under an incubator door without affecting the chamber seal. This innovative setup allows users to adjust speed and time without ever opening the incubator door, maintaining optimal environmental conditions.
Each Orbi-Shaker CO₂ unit includes a standard non-slip rubber mat platform for versatile use. Additionally, multiple sizes of MAGic Clamp™ platforms are available for Erlenmeyer flasks and test tube racks. The patented magnetic attachment system provides the fastest, most effortless way to switch between flask clamps of different sizes—no tools, screws, or hardware required.
