The RC 2 lite is a compact recirculating chiller delivering 400 W of cooling power, built for uncomplicated cooling tasks reaching down to -10 °C. It works well as a peripheral cooling source for rotary evaporators, reflux condensers, and any equipment that sheds heat through a heat exchanger, such as jacketed grinding vessels, cooled incubators, laboratory reactors, and cooling coils.
A readily accessible stainless steel mesh filter keeps cooling output steady over the long term and is simple to clean. The low 1-liter minimum fill lets the unit reach cold temperatures quickly, while a 2.5-liter working volume supports numerous external applications without topping off. A large illuminated sight glass makes the reservoir level easy to check, and the combined pressure/suction pump can drive several small applications at once.
