Description
The IKA EUROSTAR 400 control is a high-torque overhead stirrer engineered for highly viscous applications and intensive mixing of batches up to 150 liters (H2O). A brushless DC motor drives a detachable wireless controller (WiCo) with a multilingual TFT display, and microprocessor regulation holds the set speed steady while compensating automatically for viscosity changes throughout a run.
Two switchable gear ranges provide up to 400 Ncm of torque at low speeds and up to 2000 rpm at high speeds, handling viscosities to 100,000 mPas. Integrated temperature measurement, a torque trend display, plus RS 232 and USB interfaces enable full parameter control and documentation, while built-in safety circuits cut power under anti-stall or overload conditions.
