Description
The IKA® Twister Set 2 (current IKA range: MIXSTER Set 2) is a multi-position magnetic stirrer built from two magnetic drive units. Each position mixes volumes up to 5 liters at speeds up to 3000 rpm and viscosities up to 500 mPas, and the high IP 66 protection class allows operation under harsh conditions, including cleaning under running water.
The set includes two MIXSTER stirring units together with a power supply and two IKAFLON® 25 magnetic stirring bars. Positions can be run separately or synchronously via the leader-follower principle, and the system can be further expanded up to 30 stirring positions using additional units.
